Amory's Upcoming Events

Amory usually has their Annual Amory Railroad Festival every year in the month of April. Unfortunately, this year they weren't able to because of the EF-3 tornado that horribly hit our great city. To replace this and bring some much-needed community fun to Amory, they hosted the Amory Food Festival on September 23, 2023. The annual festival showcased a wide variety of culinary delights, attracting food enthusiasts from all over, both near and far. From mouthwatering dishes to live music, it was a feast for all the senses. The Food Festival was hosted by Main Street and Frisco Park.

The next upcoming event to plan for is the Amory Charity Run for a Cause on October 15th. The community will come together for a charity run to raise funds for a local organization. Participants of all ages will lace up their running shoes and show their support, making a positive impact on the lives of those who are in need.

The last event of the year is the Amory Art Exhibition. It is a community art exhibit being celebrated to show off local creativity and talent. They are showcasing all mediums from paintings to sculptures, and the event has several diverse artistic expressions. This is sure to be a visual treat for art enthusiasts.

These are really good and beneficial events that are being hosted in Amory, with the vast majority being done for good causes. The Food Festival was hosted to relieve the people in Amory who were affected by the tornado physically, mentally, and emotionally. The Charity Run is to raise money for different charities around Mississippi for people who are in need of things that can improve their lives. The art exhibit is to show people's talent to the people of Amory and to one day make their art worldwide. This town is bouncing back better than ever!
