Known for its athletic history, Amory high school held a dark secret. It was said that late at night, the halls echoed with ghostly whispers and mysterious footsteps. One Halloween, a group of curious seniors decided to investigate.
They ventured into the school after hours, As they made their way through the empty corridors, they heard eerie laughter and saw flickering lights. Suddenly, a cold breeze swept through, extinguishing their flashlights. Panic set in as they stumbled in the darkness, feeling a presence closing in.
Just as they thought all hope was lost, a faint glimmer of light appeared in the distance. With a surge of adrenaline, they followed its beckoning glow, stumbling towards the exit. Bursting through the doors, they gasped for breath, relief washing over them as they realized they had escaped the clutches of the haunted Amory high school.
From that night on, the friends vowed never to speak about the horrifying event ever again. Still to this day no one knows what happened to the students. They may have escaped but their souls will forever be trapped behind the lockers in this school. Some say if you listen close enough to the halls after the 3:09 bell you can hear the lost souls scream..."Its a great day to be a panther".
