A Trilogy Worth Reading

This year, the AHS book club has read many different books. Books like, “Not if I save you first” By Ally Carter, “Coraline” by Neil Gaiman, and “The Graveyard Book” also by Neil Gaiman. The next book they choose to read was the first book in a trilogy called “The Inheritance Games” by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.

After reading the first book, I immediately fell in love with this trilogy. The books are thrilling, exciting, have mystery, and keep me on my toes the whole time reading. In the first book, the main character Avery Ghrams inherits a mansion and billions of dollars from a billionaire named Tobias Hawthorne who had recently passed. Avery had never met nor had any connection to Mr. Hawthorne before her inheritance and had no idea why she was chosen to inherit Billions of dollars. Upon arrival at the mansion, Avery meets the Hawthorne family, and the three grandsons Mr. Hawthorne. Avery is led on a mysterious quest to figure out why she was left with such a big inheritance. Working together with the 3 brothers, Avery figures out the mystery and we are left on a cliffhanger to lead into the second book.

I would highly recommend this trilogy to anyone who is looking for a good, exciting, easy read, and cannot wait to finish the third book.
